"To Serve God" & "Duty to God" - Ten Commandments Hike

Join us as we live the words “Duty to God” with Garden State Council’s Religious Relationship’s Committee’s annual Ten Commandments Hike in Haddonfield, NJ on March 29th from 8:30-3:30. We will be starting at First Baptist Church of Haddonfield 20 Kings Hwy E., Haddonfield, NJ.

This is a unique and exciting way to embrace the concept of religious tolerance, learn local history, participate in community service, and have fun. It allows all participants to visit (hike) different Houses of Worship, each with a representative of that institution’s faith explaining one of the Ten Commandments. It is the perfect opportunity to complement your Pack, Troop, or Crew’s commitment, “To Serve God” & “Duty to God”.

Take part in a community service project by bringing canned goods to donate to a local food pantry.

Dress: Scouts should wear their Class B uniform and comfortable walking shoes; all others are invited to wear comfortable/casual clothes.

Cost: Free to participate. $5 for the patch (optional)

Food: Pack your own lunch and bring your refillable water bottle.
